Consultation
Consultations can be for a variety of reasons and can not only be beneficial to the newest of gardeners (or non-gardeners), but can help seasoned gardeners as well by providing them with a different perspective on their space or help them to troubleshoot issues.
All my formal design work starts with a consultation (please refer to the design section for more information on this). Other consultations are design focused, although the client isn’t looking for full design services, but just in need of some general guidance or ideas when it comes to design. Some clients need help editing a crowded garden or they just have a few troublesome spots they need advice for. Other times a client is a new homeowner and needs help identifying plants in their yard so they are able to learn how to better care for them. I am happy to chat with you before setting up a consultation and tailor it to fit your specific needs.
Maintenance plans:
This is for clients’ who want to do their own garden maintenance, but need some help figuring out what to do when. After an initial consultation, I create a customized seasonal maintenance schedule for your garden. This will not only help you be more efficient in your garden, but help with things such as disease issues that can result from pruning things at the wrong time, and also benefit birds and insects by leaving forage and habitat available for them at the proper times.
